Through Her Eyes

Dealing with Racisim is not an easy thing to do. Hate is a Virus, Love is a Good Drug.

Excerpts from my Book-

You can’t run away from Racisim

There is a natural Mystic”. I grew up listening to Motown, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Hendrix, Joplin and Jefferson Airplane. When Jefferson Starship played in Central Park in the middle of the day, in the middle of the Week. Seventy Thousand of us Flower Children played Hooky from School and Work to hear Gracie ask the question, ” Don’t you want somebody to Love, don’t you need somebody to Love “, the Message was in the Music. It was a Day to be remembered, all God’s Children of every Persuasions including Cops Coexisting and Celebrating each other. I passed a Joint to a White Brother wearing the Blue with a Shield and he didn’t Arrest me, he took a hit and passed it to another Officer, until the Roach made its way into a Bowl. The Aroma Blanketed the Park, People on their Balconies on Fifth Avenue were getting High on contact. I’m not Glorifying the Green, just Illustrating the Heat of the Moment. We took Heed to what Crosby stills Nash and Young said “Love the one you’re with ” In my Lifetime I have been Fortunate……….The Ebook is Due in a matter of Days

I guess that it is true what they say about the writing 🐜 Bug, once you get it there is no stopping. My first Book is Due in the Bookstores before November published by Xlibris. Instead of stressing the outcome I have started on my second Book and have a Third and Fourth in mind.

Here are Excerpts from my first Draft –

Real Friends

One of the Great Mysteries of Life is a Child being born with Prodigious Skills in all Faucets in life. My Favorite Child Prodigy is a young man by the name of Mattie Stepanack. Mattie’s Mother was cursed with having Defective Children, all dying before they made it to Adolescent and Teenage. I believe that Mattie made it to Thirteen, I am not One hundred percent sure of that. Undoubtedly Mat was a child Prodigy, he started writing as early as Nine years old. Before the time of his early Demise, he was a Published Author and Speaker. It was not his Fame that Gravitated me to him, it was his deep Empathy and love for his Mother and his Grasp on the Workings of Life. Precisely how life is un-giving, uncertain and unfair. There is no doubt in my mind that he had seen his Mortality way early in his youthful Life. While most of us only Glimpse finality at the very end. Mattie came to mind while I decided to write about true friends and True Love. What brought on this Train of Thought was thinking of my first love and all the People in my life that called me Friend, then faded from my life. I was Twelve years old, Millicent was no more than Ten. That Child Professed her love to me in no uncertain manner and term, in front of both our Parents, I blushed. As if she was saying I belong to you and you are mine for Life. That was the last time I saw Millie, we were saying goodbye, I moved Fifty Miles away. Fifty years later I am asking the question, is there such a thing as a Prodigy of Love, could she have been my Juliet. I don’t know if I am getting ready to Die, but the things that I think about these Days are absolutely Riveting and Bewildering. The most Bewildering thought is, where are all my friends? What happened to Millie and I was beyond our control. But what happened to the People who I grew up with from the time of Millie and beyond. Some of them we made it through High School together. Then we all went our own ways and never looked back or tried to reach out to each other. If this is the way that life should be lived, then life certainly is cheap and is affected by the Impairment of normal Physical, Sociological and Psychological Functions. Living life like this reminds me of the time I rescued a Puppy moments after his mother had just given birth to it, then abandoned it to die. I gave it it’s first Meal, that Pup never had one sip of it’s Mother’s Milk. That was totally unbecoming of any Mother, Human or Dog. That should have been an Eye opener for me of the way things have become, Humans have become Animalistic and Animals shows Human Traits. Many young women have left their newborns on the Steps of Churches, or Dumpsters. All this gives Credence to the Phrase Dog eat Dog World.

Excerpts from my upcoming Book

Through Her Eyes.

The reasons why I didn’t enjoy English Literature was that Shakespeare and Dickens didn’t leave me breathless after reading the first Chapter of any of their Books. Doing my own editing on this Book, after reading it for over Twenty times, Chapter One Blows me away and leave me breathless. It Rips, it Roars, it flows and there’s no rambling. If the rest of the Book should fall apart, Chapter One have all the Characteristics of good Journalism. Fear not, the rest of the Book hold it’s own.

The Emphasis in the Book is that all Black People aren’t Niggers and all White People aren’t hateful Rednecks. Also casting a Blind Eye and Deaf Ears to the problem. The majority of us wants to Bury the past and move on to a higher Consciousness of Emotional Intelligence. The Minority wants to hold on to the past and groove to the Beat of the same old Drums. Here are Excerpts-

Now that Black People are crowding the Workforces, they want their Country back. I remembered years ago working for Two Brothers, they were worth Two Million Dollars. Nonetheless, Diehard Rednecks. Eavesdropping on their conversations, they made me feel like Shit, the way they Berated Black People, about how they were Lazy and Shiftless. Always looking for a Handout. One Day while Traveling in the Bosses’ car with a White Dude That I considered a Friend. A Famous Talk Jock had a call from One of his Listeners. The Caller told him that Black People were better off as Slaves. The Jock inquired, how so, the Caller replied, because they always needed someone to take care of them, as in Welfare. My Boss and the Redneck that I thought was my Friend, both broke out in a Hysterical Laugh. The Crap that Black People have to put up with in America, I am surprised that White People dominate the Mass Murderers List. One thing that I can tell you is that change comes from within the Ranks, One Individual at a time. You take control of your Education, Financial and Spiritual well-being on your own. No One else is going to do it for you, Church or Government, Not even your Own People. The Fortunate Blacks who make it up in the World, look back at you and say you’re not like me. Now you have Black on Black Prejudice. The Book is due in the Bookstores before the end of October.

About the Author

The Book basically tells all about me, after High School I decided not to go on to Higher Education. However, that was not the end my of Education. I must credit this one Teacher for me to be a Lifelong Student. She told me that I should never stop learning, even if I choose not to go to college. Little did she know that she was prodding me to finish the job of Educating my own self. At Seventeen I bought my first Car and the Book on how to Repair it. From there on whatever I wanted to learn, I would buy the book. Over the years I became One of the greatest do D.I.Y. person in the world. I thought myself to fix Appliances, Computers, Roofs, Plumbing, Furnaces and even wiring a Building without burning it down. All through this learning process, my greatest focus was learning about life, how to live it well and make the most of the little time given. My last Doit yourself project was teaching myself to write. With Two Semesters of English Literature I had the Basic Foundation to Teach myself the Fundamentals of Writing. Seven years ago I started a Blog on my own Website, this was the Engine to develop my skills. I gave my first post to a Coworker, they told me that I had Flow, that was all the Encouragement I needed to to push forward. After writing my first Blog I promised myself that each new Blog would be better than the last. Five Hundred Blogs later have brought us to this Book. As far as Work Ethics, every Jobs that I ever had, I tackled them with the same Gusto as my Blogging. Finally, It’s not about Perfection, it’s about bringing the same level of Effort each and every Day. My Mother’s advice, whatever Job that you do, be the very best. While working in Construction, the Project Manager once told a Crew of Twenty Men, ” If Tony only worked Five minutes in an Eight Hour Shift, it’s Quality Time. That’s more than I get from all of you “. I was Humbled. And so with the Efforts I produced with this Book, I am Humbled.

The Blogger

Though reportorial contributions have been made by the Web generation, it is fair to say the vast majority of blogging does not qualify as journalism. If journalism is the imparting of verifiable facts to a general audience through a mass medium, then most blogs fall well short of meeting the standard. To be a good Blogger, One must be Observant to formulate an Opinion. Also being able to relate from life’s Experiences is a great Advantage. Here is One Blogger’s view on America’s greatest Social disorder, Bigotry, and their obstinate and unreasonable attachment to their belief, opinion, or faction; in particular, prejudice against Black People. And “the difficulties of combating prejudice and bigotry” Worse of all passing it down to their Kids Generations after Generations, the Tragedy of it all, the Kids don’t have a Mind of their own. They would prefer to latch on to every Sociopolitical Quackery and Conspiracy Theories than stepping into the Light. Jesus said that he was the Light. The Hypocrisy of it all is what’s printed on the Dollar Bill. ” In God we Trust “. This Book is the Result of me Blogging for Seven years. The Experience comes from Fifty Three years of Observation, living the Daymares of Racism. John Morgan, the most Prominent Attorney in my Hometown said, ” When you have lived long enough to get to our Age, you’ve earned the Right to Speak your Mind “. I say, after all, this is America, Freedom of Speech is Guaranteed in the Constitution.

She Matters

chapter One
It Don’t Make no Matter

Spielberg said “All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.”My Daydream is that One Day I will wake up and the Daymares of Racism will be just a bad reoccurring Dream that I have been having for Fifty Three years. The Stark reality is that Dr King’s Dream is overshadowed by my Daymares. Fifteen years ago I began to think that I would like to write a book. Continue Reading when the Book is Published.
